Balco two component stair nosings provide for pre-installation of an aluminum extruded base to be cast into the concrete step which allows the construction of the stairs to continue without damaging the finished stair nosing. A simple block of wood is removed and replaced with the second component, which is a finished stair nosing, installed at the time of occupancy so the reveal is clean for the opening day.
